How to make chees Pasta
Pasta is a versatile and delicious dish that can be made in a variety of ways. Here is a recipe for a basic pasta dish with tomato sauce and meatballs:
Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
For the pasta:
- 1 lb spaghetti or your favorite pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions:
To make the meatballs, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt, black pepper, and parsley in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In the same skillet used to cook the meatballs, add the olive oil, onion, and garlic. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Add the meatballs back to the skillet and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
To serve, spoon the tomato sauce and meatballs over the pasta. Top with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
