How to make Chinese Rice dish

 There are many different Chinese rice dishes, but one popular and simple recipe is for Egg Fried Rice. Here's how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice according to package directions and let it cool completely.

  2. In a small bowl, beat the eggs with a fork and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. Heat a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil.

  4. Add the beaten eggs to the pan and scramble them until they are cooked through. Remove the eggs from the pan and set them aside.

  5. In the same pan, add the diced onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.

  6. Add the peas and carrots to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.

  7. Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir to combine with the vegetables.

  8. Drizzle soy sauce over the rice and stir until it is evenly distributed.

  9. Add the scrambled eggs back to the pan and stir to combine.

  10. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.

  11. Serve hot and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro, if desired.
